| Personally I generally wave at all riders, except if I'm on the clutch, then I'll toot the horn. It's funny the clickesh way some riders can get. Touring bikers don't wave to sport riders or sport riders won't wave to cruisers etc. The other day i pulled up next to some guys on Harleys. I was promptly snubbed but that was ok. Well at the light the guy in the lane next to me jumped out as if we were racing, I didn't realise I had been challenged untill he was about 50' ahead of me. It just didn't register right away... ( I mean - YOU, you want to race me????? On a Harley??? I'm LOL , got his attention and then backed up 3 bike lengths, shook my head like, nah that's not enough and ended up spotting him about 50' I gunned my engine again and hand signaled let's go. They diddn't aprreciate that at all and turnes en masse at that light.

| in my limited riding experience so far, i'v waved at all bikes, no matter if they're cruisers, sport bikes, or custom choppers... i'v almost always gotten a return wave... there doesn't seem to be hardly any bad vibes between the different styles of bikes, as there seems to be between car manufactures, imports vs domestics... i wave at all bikers, regardless of make, model, or age.. ~J

| one reason for the low wave i would have to say is if you wave any higher, it might become a "right turn signal" so low and close to the waiste isnt very visable to anyone not looking for it so its not a left turn signal. but on a personal note, i also wave to anyone except when i'm on the clutch. i think some cruisers may not wave to sport bikes because they think that they're all young, reckless drivers and have no idea about the wave because they werent properly taught. but thats just my $1/50.

| A month or so ago I had about every one waving back. I will wave at anyone on a bike. But for the last couple of weeks the Harley guys aren't waveing back. At this point I would reather not wave to them at all. It all most seams as if we had a big rain come through, all of the harley riders would drown because they have there noses in the air too high. I have friends that ride harleys, but they wave to every one. What is a guy to do!!!! LOL
