Default Cleaning dead bugs off fabric jackets.

Recently i have been riding far too fast on my bike and i have noticed that there are an incredible amound of insects stuck to my jacket.

Whats the best way to goet the jacket clean. I cant wash it in the machine, can they be dry cleaned???

I don't ride too fast, but I get bugs on my sleeves (and windshield). Check your jacket tags for cleaning instructions - it depends a lot on what materials your jacket uses. I have a JR mesh jacket that is mesh and perf leather which rules out the old Maytag.

I consider them "protectant" and never wash them off.

Straight up. It adds character!

I bought a used firstgear mesh jacket recently, and the guy had just washed it. It smelled like detergent really bad. First thing I thought was "I gotta stink this thing up, PRONTO."
