Default New (for me) bike, not a Suzuki... :-(

I promised myself I would wait until next year to get a bigger bike, but my girlfriend is stealing my Suzuki GZ 250 (which is a very fun to ride bike). I would have loved a V-Strom 650 or 1000, but I can't do the $$$ right now.

Still, wanting a sporty tourer, I found a great deal on a '94 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concours. It is even hunter green, a darn cool color. The dealer is putting on new tires and I get to pick it up next weekend.

I have been riding my neighbor's Honda CB 750 to get used to a heavier bike and I find that I have no trouble with it. Being 6'1" and 240 pounds helps a lot I guess, although the GZ 250 moves very well with me aboard. I'm looking forward to doing some trips after I get comfortable with it.

Since I still have the Suzuki, I guess you can't kick me off this board.
