| Hopped on the M50 for a "short" after dinner ride, before it got dark. At one point the hairs on back of my neck got to standing up, I thought maybe just cool air, but also had that "look out" feeling... Finished the back road twisties, so I headed onto the highway for a fast ride home. Suddenly, a length of heavy metal pipe about a foot and a half long came skating into my lane! I managed to only run it over crossways, with no damage to the bike.... As I brought my eyes up, another piece of metal was coming at me head-high.... So, I'm doing seventy when this second object hits me square on the right nipple, and stung so bad I had to check to see if it was still on my body! Just when I was regaining feeling on my right chest at a red light, I hear engines revving and tires squealing right behind me.... Two little bastards in cars are doing burnouts in line, a foot from my rear fender! The one behind me kept it up even after I turned and pointed (index finger only) at him, and after he came around me I gave short chase, hoping for an opportunity to grab him by the neck..... He hauled it away in a reckless rush, so I let it go, not wanting to have him wreck out into some innocents. I thought about that neck hair tingle feeling earlier....... Time to go home. Stopped at a lake park and watched a stunningly beautiful sunset......

| Something the cars in the lanes ahead of me were chewing up and spitting out, stuff was flying everywhere....., with none of the usual swerving or brakelites....

| Good ol' I20 full of debris and squids. I'm always having to dodge something. Nice reactions Tex. Now where are those twisties.

It deflected up and over my van when it hit the hood. Who knows how it would have ended up if I were on the bike.

Close, I was on 820 headed south. On my way back from blasting around Randol Mill Rd, up through north Arlington and Fort Worth. Nice little two lane sort of in the country, but still close in. Wife and I went on a dinner run to a steakhouse in Waxahachie last Thursday. Great ride down 157 out from Mansfield, with about 20 bikes of all kinds.
