Default He made me an offer I couldn't refuse

I was out doing what I do around here , Cut lawns for about 40 people in my development when a Friend walks up to me and says i am selling my bike. It is a 06 C50 Black with V&H straight shots with Thunder Monster baffles, K & N Filter, dealer Flashed ECM,Chrome Lower covers, Chrome side covers, extended warranty and Deluxe high Sissy Bar. All the OEM parts including the exhaust and a sears Motorcycle jack go with it.

Oh yeah the rest of the story 276 miles on it, he says you can take it for 5 K

I pick it up tonight.

Wow, nice steal man!

Just a bit curious as to his reason for getting rid of it though. I figure Pete was right or it was just too much for him to afford. Either way, it sucks to see someone get rid of their ride.

WOW! In December, I got a 2003 vs800 with 455 miles on it for 4K, but you got a way better deal IMO. Beautiful bike man - congrats.

Default Got er home

OK here's the skinny, He rode and raced Harley's 35 years ago, he got the itch back again after he saw me me and a couple of buddies riding in the neighborhood. Stopped me one day and asked about my C50, couldn't believe the price of the C50's for what you got. Next thing I know here he is with this 06 C50 in front of my house. I said cool we all can ride together, Never happened he kept giving me excuses for not riding after awhile I gave up and stopped asking him. Well today he told me it just wasn't how he remembered how riding use to be ??. So since I put on the his bike all the Bling that I mentioned ( forgot the chrome radiator cover ) as a Friend, he came to me first. Bike must have about 10 coats of wax on it. He showed me his invoice...8100.00, Yes I gave him a chance to back out so I don't have any guilt about it.

Danr,

What kind of saddle bags do you have on your C50. They look interesting.

They are Givi bags, had to mount them with Easy Brackets with some minor engineering.
