Default HJC Half Helmet - Anyone know....

Does anyone out there have one of these CL-21 half helmets? I am trying to find out if any portion of the helmet (shell not hanging pieces) covers the ears. I am trying to get a better seal around my ears and the zip on ears don't cut it, but still want a half helmet and this looks like it might do it. If not, it looks like I will have to go to a 3/4. Thanks.

that really looks like it covers the ears...the solid part that is. the ones that are straight half helmets are usually just above the ears.

unless of course your head is shaped like Dan Akroyd in Coneheads!

This is a good helmet as far as i know. I also have the AC 2 HJC. It is a bit more expensive than this one but wears lower in the face and with the neck curtain, at least for me, covers almost the entire face. For me it covers down to a bit lower than my lower jaw line. This is the helmet i would wear without the neck curtain during summer days if it gets to that point. (I am reffering to the AC 2).
I painted this Cl the same color as my C90T Gunmetal. It looks nice. i have in case of two up. It was a freeby.
IMO good helmet.
I would also say. The thing with the AC 2 is that the inside bowl is designed deeper than the CL so that is how is covers further lower in the face even without the neck curtain.

I have a CL2 1/2 with neck curtain, I wore for a few years.
I had switched from a CL5 3/4.

Last year I tried a AFX77 3/4 and it fit so well I grabbed the Demo one.
It is snug around the ears and the pieces come out to clean and replace.

You have to go into a few shops and try helmets till you find the one that is good for you.

I just wish AFX had the VSP system that Nolan has.
