Default Neighbor down

My neighbor was t boned the other day, he rides a anniversary edition Harley Soft tail, 8,000 in damages. Three cracked ribs, broke ankle and heel. He was ticketed for making an illegal left turn. Also was wearing a beenie type helmet, no skull damage (just darn lucky it wasn't at higher rate of speed).

There's just too many stories like this every riding season.
Extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery if you get the chance.

Ride safe.

Ticketed too! That's insult to injury.
I'm Glad to hear he wasn't killed.

What piece of gear prohibits you from turning illegally in front of cars? Gear is good, but it only makes you a safer crasher, not a safer rider.

There seem to be a lot of people wrecking themselves, making bad decisions. It's a waste.

RIDE SMART

I was referring to the beenie cap. Not the best protective gear,, but you are right safe gear doesn't prevent bad decisions. I was just wondering if the guy has re-thought what type of gear he wears.
