Default Bolt-On, Slip-on, Full system,--- Remap and rejet

What is difference on the exhaust setup?
bolt on, slipon, full header system?

What exactly does rejet and remap do for performance?
What do they actually change on the engine, when they do this on a motorcycle?

I am new to riding and would like to gather some experienced opinions.
Before purchasing an exhaust for my new gsxr 600.

thanks for the help.

A bolt-on or slip-on just replaces the muffler itself, usually from the downstream end of the midpipe. A full system replaces the header and midpipe, and is the extreme solution to flow issues. In both cases, a remap (fuel injected bikes), or a rejet (for carbed bikes), is likely necessary to maximize power gains and prevent a lean condition. When you open up the airflow with an upgraded exhaust, you need to increase the fuel flow to match.

Applications vary widely, so I'll let someone who knows your specific bike take it from here.

Another question on the exhaust subject.

Which exhaust has any gsxr riders have or have
first hand heard.

D&D or Yoshimura RS-3

Which sounds better?
Which is louder?
Which do you recommend?
