| Started in 1962 with a 50cc honda "road bike" you older folks might remember that there was a trail 50 and a road 50 lucky I was in the wilds of Montana where there wasn't a lot of traffic, Next was a honda 350 cc in 1970 a twin, this was when the 500s and 750s were four cyl, theyeven made a 4cyl 350 I heard. Jump to the present 650 v star classic in april of 2006, then a 1700cc roadstar in October of 06. |

There are a few others but being an old codger I sometimes leave out a few details. I averaged 25 to 30K miles on each of these cycles. A note, I didn't have to take the motorcycle test for my motorcycle license endorsement, I was "grandfathered" in. I enjoy reading the riding and the mechanical comments posted. Frank |

| You want the whole list?? It's a long one (over 50). Just to save space, I'll do it in order of bike year, not the order in which I owned them. Here we go: 1959 Honda Super Cub 1964 Honda CB160, Honda 150 Dream 1970 Husqvarna Wombat 250 1971 Honda SL125, Honda CB175, Suzuki TC90 1972 Kawasaki H2750 Mach IV, Yamaha JT2, Suzuki T250 1974 Kawasaki Z1 900, Honda CL360, Suzuki GT750, Honda XL350 1975 Honda XL175, Yamaha DT400, Honda CB750k 1976 Honda XL250, Honda CB550k chopper 1977 Suzuki GS400, Honda CB750A 1978 Yamaha YZ80, Honda 400 Hawk 1979 Yamaha IT175, Kawasaki KLX250, Honda CR250 Elsinore, Honda GL1000 Goldwing, Honda XR180, Suzuki DS100, Yamaha MX175 1980 Yamaha XS850 Special, Kawasaki KZ650 LTD 1981 Suzuki TS100, Yamaha YZ125H, Yamaha XS850 Special, Suzuki GS650, Kawasaki KZ1100 GPZ, Yamaha IT465, Yamaha XV750 Virago 1982 Husqvarna CR430, Yamaha IT175, Kawasaki KZ750 Spectre 1983 Honda XR500 1984 Honda V30 Magna, Kawasaki KLT250 1985 Yamaha YTM225, Honda 250R, Honda ATC250 1986 Suzuki DR200 1990 Yamaha YZ250 2002 Honda 919 2005 Suzuki M50 Boulevard This is not counting a handful of mini-bikes and go carts and such. Before I turned 16, I used to buy broken bikes to fix, ride them a short time, then sell them to buy more. It was how I made money before I could legally work, but I still kept each one at least a month or so. In case you're wondering, I have a list where i write them down. That's how I remember them all. I've also owned over 40 cars! Oh yeah, and I'm only 26 years old.

| I've only had three, as I've only been riding about three years! I had a 82 kawi 440LTD that i used to learn on, and take my riders test. Then I bought a Suzuki Volusia, and had that for 18 months. Now I have had the Star for a year, and plan on keeping it for many more!

| I'm on number 8, and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. 1974 Kawasaki 100 Enduro - Bought it with my brother in Michigan, took it to Hawaii when we moved there in '75. 1980 Kawasaki 550 LTD - Michigan - over 24000 miles in two years 1982 Suzuki GS850G - Michigan, Illinois and Virginia (joined the Navy) - bought new in '84 - another 28000 miles in two years 1984 Honda V65 Sabre - California - bought new in '86 - 15000 miles Early/mid 80's Yamaha Seca 550 - California - bought used - about 5000 miles 1988 Honda NX250 - California - I won two of them on the "Price is Right"! I'd love to find another one of these now. 1988 - First born child. Riding days declining 1993 - Last (third) child born. I've been a full time single dad since 1997 so riding bikes definetly took a backseat. 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50T - California - Bought new in September '05 - 12000 miles and adding... Future - Hoping to add a Suzuki V-Strom (650 or 1000?) some day soon. Probably replace the C50T with the Yamaha Venture Royal or possibly the new Victory touring bike that's still in development. As Texrider said, writing this stuff down brings back lots of great memories. |

| 14 or 15. My favorites were 76 fantic 50cc 6 gear (comparable to a YZ125) 77 RD400 (way to much fun for words) and my current 05 Honda Rebel (a work horse that will go about anywhere and saves enough money to pay for itself) |
