1983 GS650 G - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I was going up a hill on my 1983 GS 650 G, it popped out of gear, and now it will not go into any gear. If any body knows where to start fixing this please reply.

I would start with a look at the clutch cable first off.

alex I have 2 of them one on the road and a spares bike. the road bike has redeveloped the perpencity to jump out of 2nd gear especailly when reved out. If your machine has had the same symtoms you will be faced wiyh strip down and parts location. by all means email me and I will try to answer any questions plus I should be able to send you a exploded view paulc@quicksilver.net.nz

Poosey Found second gear by accident Joined: Oct 2003 Bike: 1982 GS 1100EZ Location: Richmond Ky Posts: 329	I would start with a look at the clutch cable first off. __________________ 1982 GS1100EZ 5,300 Original Miles. Sadly, torn all apart for the winter.
