Default Oil on tire

Well, I made a boo boo and ended up getting oil on the tire tread. Is there anything I can do?? If I just take it real easy and ride for a few miles will it scrub off? (somewhat like when the tires were new)

You can try to scrub it off by riding, keeping in mind that the first few minutes will be like riding on ice.

You could also try spraing some S100 Cleaner on the tire, let it work in a minute or two, then wash it off again.

dish soap is a pretty good degreaser. Clean it off first and take it slow the first few miles.

At least that's what I'd do.

Thanks! I scrubbed the tire with soap and water this morning before work. Took It easy on the way in. So far so good.
