So I am sitting at a light on my way home from work and I hear a bike around with me with really loud pipes. I look over to see this guy on a Harley pull up right next to me. I was in the middle of the land and this guy had to squeze in to fit between me and the car next to me. I looked over and he just sat there like he didn't see me. Just to be nice I comented on how he had a nice bike (first mistake). Then he preceded to tell me how a couple of years ago he bought a Harley and that is all he ever rides. I mentioned I had just got my bike about 6 month ago and got a hell of a deal on it. His respons to this was "I bet you did" I have read about guys like this but never acually met one. Given I have a 98 suzuki bandit 1200s with both of the farrings busted it has been laid down on both sides by prevous owner but I got it for $475. It is my first bike wasn't going to by and thing new. Not to mention I was in a helmet, jacket, boots, and blue jeans and this guy is wearing a bandana and shorts. Ok that is the end of my rant. |
