Default Project 6 month overview

It's been 6 months since I started my SV650S Lower Fairing project (the one in my signature). So far I've collected $81 USD. Thank you to all my Donators so far. You know who you are!

At the present rate, I'll be getting my fairing in 2 and a half years!

Wow, great weekend for me, the amount I had before the weekend started as tripled! It might not take 2.5 years after all!

Ha ha ha, just did a search on "sv650s lower fairing" on Google. My blog makes the top 6 results. Cool! I rock.

On a related topic, I apparently need just a little over $360 USD (thanks to XtremeDave for a great price) to make this work.

Not bad at all. Hopefully you'll have a full lower soon.

Why don't you go and buy one, you live in the better part of the world, not in africa. It doesn't make any sence to me. Why wait 2 years!

I have an idea, I interupted my accelerated free fall program /sky diving/ three years ago prior to my son being born because it was expensive and felt like it is not the time to being selfish and spend money on me, on a sick plesure. But hey if the trick is working I may start one sky diving donation project myself. I may even put a moto "If you have always wanted to jump from a plane but were afraid, I'll do it for you"

chrisan, I'm not forcing anyone into contributing. Those who contributed have done it of their own free will and I thanks them. I'm just posting the progress here as I myself would like to know how is going a project I contributed on.

Haha! Just wait till someone donates money and tells you they want you to jump without a parachute.

There is no need in jumping from a perfectly good, operating aircraft. I watch them training every day from my office next to the jump tower here at Benning. We lose one every couple of months from some type of accident.

Oh come on. That's a bit of an exaggeration, no?

Bad luck! And yes there is a need to jump, otherwise people won't go back and do it again.
Talk to someone in a car and he'll tell you that there's no need to ride a motorcycle.
