I'd definately use something like once I hear some unbiased reviews. I'm almost more concerned about abrasion that impact, though.

It looks like it only provides impact protection (the CE protectors on the knees, hips and tailbone), but won't protect from road rash.

I think I'll stick to my Cordura or Leather riding pants...

having been hit then run over by a pickup truck while on foot, i fear impacts much more than abrasions.
an impact that does not break anything can ruin your month just in recuperating.

Damn .... those look good to me! .... I like the idea of hip protection taking a shot on the hipbone would suck ***.

Look kinda cool to me. I have some Icon field armor knee/shin protectors which I use to commute but they are bulky and uncomfortable at times. I may look into them.
