Default Ball bearings and banana peels

Got the Bandit out today. It's mid 40's and sunny. My buddy and I fitted Givi Wingracks and did some other mods and maintenance over the last few months, so I was ready to ride. Got about 50 miles in, but the roads are downright treacherous. There's so much sand at the intersections that you'd think a beach was nearby.

Still, yee-haw! I had the front come up on my once while entering a divided highway. I thought I had eased past the wheelie-point, but nope. Oh, well.

Just glad to be back in the game, though we're expecting snow in a few days. I'm really looking forward to our late-June 5,000+ mile trip out west. The Beartooth Pass, Yellowstone, Lolo Pass, and whatever else we fit in. Mmmm-mmm!

Sure rub it in, rub it in. The roads covered in salt, sand and gravel and my driveway is a skating rink.

I'm so close. A good rain, and I'm getting the battery out of the basement.

Between yesterday, and today, I went through a tank and a half of gas. The roads are bad, but like Clint said, it's still riding. I saw about 50 other bikes here in St Paul. I'm finding that I'm not very happy with this Caberg helmet I bought, might have to put it on Ebay.

I was lucky enough to ride all winter, but now we're looking forward to numerous thunderstorms and windy days. A first ride after a while of putting the bike away is a good feeling though. I start getting antsy and pace back and forth if I haven't ridden my bikes for about five days.

Hey Rowdy, had to respond. Am a transplant from Bloomington, MN myself and have a son living in Missoula MT. Have only been out to see him 3 times but is beautiful riding country, even from the cages I was in. Enjoy the ride !

+12 today. Still lots of snow on the lawns but roads are either wet (from melting snow) or dry. Tons of sand, and other stuff. Next weekend I,m preparing the SV for the Spring.

Yeah but on the down side to that. My lawn is turning green so tomorrow I have to prep the lawn mower.

Saw where you had 3-4 in of snow up there in Mn. It was balmy all weekend here in Ga, and I was out riding on Saturday, and then went to the Lake on Sunday. That's why I left St Paul!!

Yeah, but Spring is such a fantastic time after you've endured Winter.

Almost the opposite here....Snowed Sunday night, cold as heck Monday, Today all the snow had melted and it got up in the 50's with dry streets. But crap though!.....there's a chance for more snow and colder weather this coming weekend.

No time to ride though.. ..cleaning up my car in order to sell it.
