Default Got my license today...

Well I had taken my written exam earlier in the week. Took my driving test today. PASSED! not that it was any surprise, but I am excited. I have put almost 300 miles on my bike just practicing around the neighborhood, but now that I am legal to drive I can hit the road.

When I came back to work after my test I parked it and a co-worker was out smoking and looked at me and asked, "Is that a Harley?" This was my first one of these since I have not been out riding. Then I cross the street and a guy drives by and stops in the street just staring. Looks at me and says, "Looks real nice! What is it?!" I proudly replied, "Suzuki M 50. Thanks!" All in all made my day. I am hoping to get some rides in this weekend if it doesn't rain. (although we need it)

Congratulations Baja,
Now get that bike broken in and enjoy the roads before it gets too hot. My wife's family is from West Tx and I"ve visited in the summer, but it's got to be near perfect for riding now.

Ride safe.

its has not been bad at all. It is actually getting hot already. THe other day I went riding in my leather jacket, and it was in the mid to upper 80's. Today is back in the 50's and 60's and maybe some rain. Nice and cool.

Congrats! I know what you mean about the weather (from Killeen myself). It's PERFECT right now! A little warm during the day, but definitely more manageable than the July/August weather, lol.

+1
Good ol' San Antonio is getting warm too. It was in the 80's this week and the heat from the engine wasn't feeling nearly as nice as it was a month ago.

Congrats on getting the license bajaraider!
Best of luck to you and stay safe.

Congratulations!
Now be safe and enjoy your RED M50, although BLUE is faster, but being you are just starting out, the slower RED is good to start with, "RIDE SAFE"!

Yes as MyC50T put it. I do ride the fast RED one. Thanks for all the support and advice folks. I'll be sure and keep my head up and screwed on tight. The ride to work this morning was great.
