|  Newbie with a gear problem, Please help
I just bought my first bike saturday, a 94 Katana 600. I put about 80 miles on it the first day. UInfortunately it came with a problem. Second gear doesn't work right, but all the other gears work great. I can downshift to second and it works fine, but if I upshift to it and try to accelerate it drops into neutral. I'm thinkin and hopin it's the paw or the teeth on the shifter rod behind the clutch basket. I was wondering if anyone ever had a problem like this and could help me out with a suggestion of the culprit. Thanks a bunch, TjToo |
