The ATGATT croud is probably only about 10% of all riders, and helmet use is maybe 50/50 where they arn't mandatory. Don't let it spoil your day, there isn't anything you can do about what other people chose to wear. Sometimes you just have to shake your head, and than let it go. That's what I try and keep in mind when I see someone riding stupid.

I have never heard of flashing your lights as a signal to go a head and pull out into oncoming traffic.

OK, so now two things I know about you are. You like to bad mouth your home country. (U.S.A.) and you have a yellow switch. I'm sure there's more, but right now these two things kind of stand out.

Oh Rickster, I don't badmouth the USA. I have some very clear opinions about the current government, but I definitely am not Anti-American. What I often try to do is remind you over there that there is a world beyond the US borders. There are many US citizens who honestly believe that Europe is still living in the middle ages, and that we don't have things like indoor plumbing. (I am not referring to anyone on this forum - it was a generality).

I personally prefer the quality of life that Switzerland offers over the life I had living in Los Angeles. I know, you can't compare a 13-millon city to a country with a population of 7.5 millon, but still...

OK, I overreacted, sorry! You know how us Republicans can be. Oh, by the way, my switch is yellow too. Don't know why I thought it was red.

Not even at an intersection? Everybody around here does, but this is Texas I guess.
