Sweet!! lol I have been doing alot of research on the bike and have gotten aquanted quite well with her. If anyone has any questions, I am sure I can answer it, even if I have to do a quick search, as I know alot of sources for the answers.

The bike, in a nut shell. 1203cc 45 degree V-twin. 103hp and 84ft-lbs of torque (yee haw!) This bike is not about top speeds, but about having fun. It has so much torque, I can ride in 3rd gear almost all day long. It red lines at only 7,000 rpm, but torque is killer at only 3500rpm. It's def a beast in a class by itself. Wheel base is short, about 54 inches, that combined with the torque, keep an eye on your front wheel, it likes to drift up.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone.

My neighbor has a Buell ... it is one of the loudest motorcycles I've ever heard, right up there with Ducati. It's even louder than any of the Harley's in my town.

When he's sitting at an intersection, that thing vibrates like it's having a siezure. As soon as he starts rolling, it seems to calm down ...

Yeah, that's just the nature of the engine. It has a terrible shake, but the new rubber engine mounts they put in the in 2003 made it tolerable. Once you pull and start rolling, it smooths out and almost totally dissapears. I actually think the hsaking and rumbling is cool.

There's something wrong about that engine in a sport chassis - which is what makes that bike so right. I'd love to ride one for a few hours.

+1 Rowdy. That looks like it would be really fun. Maybe not a good idea for me to test ride something like that. "Honey, I traded the M for a ..." Smack.

You might find we're a little heavy on suzukis, but don't let that bother you. If anyone bothers you we'll send them to the Burgman forum. J/K Scooter boys.

Welcome. Nice bike, i've always wanted to ride a Buell to see what they are like. The wheelbase is just asking for a wheelie or two.
