You said: "If you learned nothing from the BRC you went in with the attitude you wouldn't learn anything."

I never said I learned nothing, I said the first day was a waste with the non-rider basics. So please don't put words into my mouth.

My post opines that the US MSF's ERC is a much better choice than the US MSFs BRC for the experienced rider. I can't speak to the Canadian basic class, and I wasn't trying to do so. Let me give my reasons:

1.) You ride your own bike, not a little bike you will never ride again.
2.) You don't spend so much time learning how the clutch works, and that the foot pedal is the rear brake, the right handle is the front brake, and duck walking your bike around.
3.) The course costs less.
4.) You still get an insurance discount.
5.) Your class will not be mostly people who have never sat on a motorcycle.

The BRC is a good course for any rider, but the ERC is better for people who already ride. I really do not know anything about the Canadian courses except that the MCN series on the MSF suggests that the Canadian courses have a better curriculum.
