Red face I need to get my licence back

I need to get my driver's/rider's license back, but I don't have the money for it, it would cost at least 200, cause I need proof of high risk insurence. so I'm kinda askin alot but not really. if maybe a bunch of people could send me like a dollar, in quarters or a bill, or throgh paypal even. it would be gratly appresiated. it's quite hard to find a job without a license. pluse my registration is expired on my bike and car so I dunno what to do.

if you wanna send stuff through mail send to:
2605 S. Jefferson Ave
Mason City, IA 50401

if you wanna send it through paypal send it to: Skyplane18@hotmail.com

if you wanna tell me I'm a cheap skate and stupid or somethin else you can send it to the email above or just reply to this message

Looks to me (Google Earth), that you are smack dab in the middle of a residential area. Hop on a bus and get yourself a job. You don't need a license to get a job. Don't be proud. A lot of dishwashers / busboys turn into some of the best cooks / waiters there are. Good Luck to ya!

+1. I went without a license for quite a while AND had a job. Just seems to me that your looking for a free ride here. But then again I don't know if they have public transportation in your area. But if had to I would mow lawns to make the money. Or wash cars. You'd have the money in a week or two at the most.

Well I don't want to sound harsh but here goes. You must have done something to lose your drivers license. The punishment is a tough one to overcome and it is that way for a good reason. After you struggle to regain your driving glory you will appreciate it and maybe make better decisions the next time. Sorry if it sounds harsh but i feel that if people just give you the money you would most likely not understand the situation fully.

Ok dude, your credibility has just gone down the toilet. There are four, count them (4) bus routes about 2 minutes from your house. Lying will not get you very far. I would lock this thread but maybe you have an explaination, Pinoccio.

Mason City Iowa Bus route.

Go for the jobs that don't dude. If you can't afford the buss, which BTW is cheaper than gas, you need to get rid of the bike, if you even have one.

Very few jobs require a drivers license. With your apparent driving history the ones that do you wouldn't qualify for. Start at the bottom and work up. You will be a better person for it. Life doesn't come on a silver platter but the silver platter is attainable if you want to work for it.

Remember: Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. Pursue it!

If you just stand around waiting on it, will never come. Go after it!

I'm all for helping somebody that is down, but the person has to be showing that they are trying to dig out of the mess. If you don't have a job right now and can't afford $200 to get a license back, then you need to get a job closer to where you live (IE, local gas station or grocery store) or sell some things to get the money. $200 isn't much at all if you start looking through what you have and what you really do need to get buy.

Like some, if not most of the people on this forum, I've been there. It has been 4 yrs since my divorce and I am now just getting to the point where I'm not constantly worrying about how to pay for something. It is hard and takes sacrfices, but I feel like I am a better man for doing it and not taking the easy way out (IE, bankruptcy). I did get some help from my family, but I am paying them back and that is what family is for. Up til that time, I never asked my family for anything (money for first car, tuition for college, rent, nothing). What I have is due to me (house, motorcycle, 2 cars, 401K).

Just my $.02 worth.

I can't believe this.

Seriously. This is the first and only warning.
