Lightbulb Analyze My Compulsion

About one year ago, in January, I went to bed knowing nothing of motorcycles ...having no thought of a motorcycle. Like a reverse Rip Van Winkle, I expected nothing, and went to sleep. I awoke in the night with the immediate compulsion and overwhelming need to buy, own , possess a motorcycle. In a state of excitement I jumped out of bed and rummaged through a stack of newspapers looking for motorcycle ads... then I found there were none. My heart was pounding as I searched my brain for some solution to my need to have a bike....so I looked in the yellow pages and found a few dealers, one near me. I was able to get back to sleep a while later and in the morning I knew that was was going to have one... maybe not right away ..but soon. In the next couple of days I had found out about MSF training and got my name on the waiting list. Fast forward to two months later when I bought a Boulevard M50 black, which was a surprise to me because I had it narrowed down to Boulevard S50 and Kawi Vulcan 750., But that's another story.

My compulsion could have come from my beginning a regimen of an amino-acid "L-Tyrosine", suggested by my doctor. It may have been related to a lot of dieting and excercise that I had been doing, where I lost 25 pounds of fat. In any case, that's the tru story of my compulsion. Where it will take me from here is anybody's guess.
