If so.... It might be worth taking a trip to a book store and looking through the "alternate lifestyle" section of the magazine rack.... just take the subsription cards out of the mags and take home with you.... Fill them out w/ his info... send them in, of course with the "bill me later" option checked.

I'm not saying.... I'm just saying. :o
That would be funny, but I won't stoop to his level either.

I was reading most of the "neutral" comments that people left as feedback for this so-called company. It is apparent that this guy leaves "negative" feedback for your honest "neutral" comment. I since followed-up to my original feedback of "Item could have shipped quicker. Email feedback not timely." with this, "Liar sends NEGATIVE fdback for honest reply; check neutral replies yourself!!!!!" ... let's hope that sparks potential buyers to think twice. If he replies, I'm going to further follow-up with "Should have responded with NEGATIVE feedback!"

I guess the reason I'm a little upset (admittedly, this is all trivial) is that his negative feedback dropped my 100% rating to 87.5% because I only have 6 feedbacks total. His overall rating of 95.8% (904 +, 40 -) was unaffected with my neutral comment, yet he slams me. The more interesting thing is that this guy has been an eBay member since June-03-03 yet in the past 12 months he's received 39 negatives, 34 of those were the past 6 months. Must be having a bad year ...

STP,
Just move a little further west to Carrollton. We lived there for 13 years and loved it. Had 20 acres off of Hwy 5 close to 27. I think we paid around $650 and sold it later for around $900. Problem with Douglasville is it is too close to Atlanta!

Yeah,, the cost of land out in D'ville is skyrocketing. As is the Carollton area too now I see. I am not sure if I want to extend our commute time even further. But I was thinking of the Hwy 166 area out past Post Road. Might be a nice area still out there.

Thanks!!!!!

ZUKI DUDE: SPEEDSUPPLIES has not improved his ways. I ordered from him, Rob Owen, on July 1st 2007, $250. recieved no product, he is now saying I am in the wrong after waiting 6 weeks and requesting a refund.. The guy is a thief. I am going after him through VISA. I notice he has changed his shipping and return policy since I put in my order. The crook now wants a 30% "restocking" charge for cancelling an order for products that he never had.

I would also pursue recourse through ebay and PayPal (if appropriate). You may be able to get the "feedback mutually withdrawn" thing done. I know you want yours left, but to save your 100%, it may be worth it.

There STP goes again... confusing yen with dollars. $38,000,000 = 321,295.99 JPY.

I just did that with a jerk (O2carbonfiber, also known as carbonperformance) for a part that was advertised as "perfect factory fitment." The only problem is, this part had no tabs, no mounting holes . . . nothing. Anyway, I made the guy refund me 100% of my purchase price + shipping and handling . . . +RETURN SHIPPING AND HANDLING! That's right, I made the scheister pay ME for "handling."

He had sent a return label and thought that would cover it. He told the mediator that I was being difficult. Au contraire! Like I told dude: "The shipping label covers the shipping . . . but not the handling!! If it costs $10 to get it from CA to Memphis, what's so freaking hard to believe about it costing $10 to get it from Memphis to CA?!?

Anyway, I gave his money to kids I would meet on the street that looked like they were behaving.

[EDIT] I see that carbonperformance is no longer a registered ebay user. Hmmmm.

i ordered from Oneida and also from cruisercustomizing

*I* screwed up my order from cruisercustomizing, sent them an email and they fixed everything up right away and the stuff is on its way...

oneida.. i goofed that one, but i SWEAR they changed their website recently. had i known it would be through UPS i would have ordered somewhere else.

the brokerage fees going across the border are about $90 for a $675 order. killer.

Default Buyer Beware - Speedsupplies .com

It seems that this company are either in troubles or just fraudulent. I bought ten special washers for my 1975 Suzuki from them, they supplied two entirely different items and now will not respond to e-mail or telephone calls.

I believe their scam is to accept money for any part you order and supply any old crap just so they can say they have supplied you and claim it to be a mistake if you bother or manage to get them to court or complain to your credit card company.

They charged me a fortune to post ten washers to England but as they are so hard to find I accepted the cost only to find I had been conned.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I DOUBT YOU WILL EVER SEE WHAT YOU ORDERED.

Dennis Kirk | Frontpage has plenty of metric stuff and they will match prices (except e-bay). They've got the stuff on hand, and ship the same day.

Scott, I agree with your complaint about how you was treated. Ebay is a HUGE risk though I've ordered numerous things from there (and seem to have a slight addiction growing) .

The best course of action is to get the word out about the people you purchased it from as you've done and trust me I will stay away from them myself.

Just a heads up. I also had many issues with speedsupplies.com . I ordered a BATTERY from them, 10 minutes later I canceled the order by emailing them and then trying to call them (they never answered). The email told me they would cancel the order and credit my account.

10 days later the battery arrives. I refuse shipment and send them an email to tell them what I did. for once they actually responded telling me they were going to credit my account. I can see that they got the package back. A month later after 5 phoen calls (no one answers) and 10 email(NO RESPONSE), I still don't have my refund.

I'm now getting my CC company involved.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS CROOK!

And from the Bowels of 2006!

NOTE: Always do a search on any online retailer you plan on using. If, like in this case, you can simply goole speedsupplies.com and get 5 negatives on the first page....you've saved yourself from heartache.
