Default Attacked by .....

Today was a day of first's. My buddie came over to play a little guitar with me to kill some time, when we started to talk motorcycles (his GS 1100 is down with a bad head gasket) when he asked if he could ride the wifes bike. Sure it could use some time on the street to blow out the cobwebs.
So we take off and started to ride around town when the fun began....... We both knew it was going to be windy, but we didn't take into account what the wind would throw our way. ....

The first thing I noticed was a blue blurr out of the corner of my eye and looked right only to see a kids swimming pool flying like a frisby right at me. So I duck down low behind the bars and gun it to advoid the impact, but the pool clipped me on the shoulder slightly and then flew over my buddies head.
We both pulled over and had a good laugh over that in our best Karate Kid.... "never been attacked by pool".

So we take off again only to have a large cardboard box fly out and get ran over by the bike, We both pulled over again and had a good laugh over that in our best Karate Kid.... "never been attacked by box".

I asked by my friend, does this mean we will be attacked by tree next, I hope not because that would really hurt. So we stop at the local area Wal-Mart to take a beather from the wind. It was getting stronger, we had by this time scrapped the pegs on both bikes from being blown over.

Well we head out to the south with the wind at our backs and having a good time, when all of a sudden a large tree limb lands in the road ahead of us and covers the road with branches and we go into evasive manuevers to advoid the limb. When I hit a another branch with my tire and it kicks up and hits the bottom of my right foot and knocked it a good 12" or more intot he air.

So I guess I have been attacked by tree and now can tell the tell and darn glad to be off my bike.....
