I bought a new GZ250 in Oct 2005 for $3000. It's my first bike in USA so I went with a lighter one. I love riding it. Did I pay the right amount ($3000) for this bike? Now I have 800 miles and I have to take it to the dealer for the first service after break in. They are charging around $200 as the guy there told me they have to replace valves, oil and filter. Is this correct? Secondly, for routine service after every 1000 miles or so, can I do this myself and what I need to change in that service. Is this the oil and filter only or the valves also? Someone who knows about GZ250, please help. Thanks a lot. |
