Default Oneida Suzuki info.

I'm going to order a mounting kit for my Suzuki sissy-bar and i wanted some feedback on Oneida Suzuki. Are they a reliable place to order from? Is there any other website that has genuine Suzuki parts that you have dealt with? Thanks for any information.

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them, V&H Pipes, Gel Seat, Power Com. Hypercharger, Rear Rack to replace back seat, and numerous other things I can't remember. I've never had a problem with anything. Only thing that stinks is if you don't pay the xtra money for them to process your order right away they will wait the 3 day's before they process it so I order on a sunday night they will ship it on a wed. or a thur. and I'll have it by fri.

Ordered a bunch of accessories from them. Real quick delivery, even to Canada. Itemized packing list, everything well packed. Most people I've heard from that have dealt with Oneida had a positive experiences. Prices are fair and they have lots of selection in stock - ready to ship. I think you'll enjoy dealing with them.

When you log into your account, click on order history and search for your latest transactions and click it to go into it to see details of the transaction and tracking number. By the way, it's number one with me.

Question Just Wondering

Please, did anyone here ever have any problem with them and credit card? I just went thru a very umpleasant experience with them. I called to order some items because i was at a public computer at work. Exploit the moment and place the order. After taking the order the total is more than I had calculated on their website. I gave my card information, and as soon as I started the part of the billing address; my P O Box., he cut me up. " Nope you can't have it." "Man you can have a funny card with any P O Box. We take mail fraud very seriously. You can't have it." If you want you can send to this address 434 L E N O X avenue, Oneida, New York 13431. You can send a money order, no checks." When I asked the man please to explain the difference in price online vs over the phone. He rapidly said that had to put me on hold, click. Never came back to the phone. I perused around their site again and found the option of meny order. So I sent the print out after puting things in the shopping basket and calculating shipping, along with MO. I called him again and then very angry told me that I had to pay more. "YOUR THING IS GONNA BE SENT BACK> YOU PAY MORE MANNNN." After a while of back and forth he finally said it that if ordering via money order or the telephone one have to pay "manual charges".
Now I found an email that my order has been completed and to expect this monday 2/6. I don't know what to make of this to order from them again or shop from somewhere else?
That part of the P O box I think is simply offensive. Wow, my credit card company has no problem with it but a merchant even goes as far as making somewhat of an accusatory statement. Hum.
Any opinion?

Sorry for bringing the flashbacks!

Yes, after I posted this thread I found those with your detailed ordeal with the Oneida Deceptive-Cons. LOL
Again i can live with rigid policies and so on but not the snicky part. Worst is their gun point attitude with charges. They can charge you whatever they want after they have your information. It looks a lot like entrapment to me.
I have not done any search on this but i wonder if they have a negative track with Better business Bureau or any other reporting agency?

BTW That UPS cat and mouse game was a good laugh .

Intimid8er,

I noticed you ended up going with cruisercustomising.com back when you had the problem with oneida Suzuki. Is it that Cruisercustome matches prices? Or That was a one time thing that you lucked out? It would be nice to find another source with those good prices from Oneida without the hassle.

Thanks in advance.

They do have some complaints lodged with the BBB. Me being one of them. Funny how the complaint reached them, and I received my money immediately.

Hey...I'm all for mistakes and errors. It happens. However, when they take a bad attitude, or don't want to talk to you about it. That is another story. If they don't want to listen or what have you, it's quite annoying.

CruiserCustomising matched prices...I had a good experience with them. However, some members are reporting they are not as willing to match prices as willingly anymore. (They bought a new facility.....light bill and all to pay now .) But, with me, same thing, they said they couldn't match the price, but gave me a slightly lower number than their list price. When I thanked them for their time and said I would look elsewhere, another e-mail showed up sometime later matching the price. A.) That discourages the competition from shopping them and wasting their time. B.) They hope to discourage you from pursuing the lower price, and you'll agree to a higher price if they are the only retailer with the item in question. (Old retail trick. Salesman makes an offer, customer replies with, "What do you think I'm stupid?" Answer. "No sir. I don't think you're stupid, but just in case you were, I didn't want to miss you.")

Like I said, some S-B members have been having luck, some haven't. Be patient.

Also, try Dennis Kirk. If they have it in stock. They'll match it.

Right,
I totally agree with you. It is the lies and the trick they are pulling in addition to their bad mannerism. I am expecting my order today, only if it is true that they sent it out. Now if it comes let's see what gets here.
The only reason i ordered this time from them was to stablish ordering with them. The dealer i bought my bike from has been matching prices pretty much so. I got most of the things I wanted along with my bike included in my deal. The items I am ordering now is for friends. These friends got me into biking and I have come to learned more about sources. Weird!
This learning is possible Thanks to all of you here at the Forums.
I was ready to order a FI2000, Caseguards for three Volusias and two C50s, plus some other chrome parts for those bikes. So I decided to test the waters first. I am glad I did it like this. I have no clue why I did it. A hunck? I have no clue. Was a perhaps the tone the first time I called? Hum.
I also noticed, that I was able to get phone number to the dealer in Oneida NY., now that number is nowhere to be found when I try via my telephone or even online yellow pages.
For now I think I am going to search for another source in addtition to the dealer. Cannot rely on one source only.

Also try Metric Thunder. They may have what you are looking for.

Funny...I almost expected you're reply to be that!!!

You're either doing it to mess with me, or you're on commission or both!

I had re-read the Oneida thread. All the way through it: Sean....Metric Thunder. Metric Thunder. Metric Thunder. Metric Thunder!!!! LOL
