Default Questions: Storage/Bike Overseas

hey everyone,
had a couple of questions for you guys. I have a Suzuki 2002 GSXR600. I moved to Europe about a year ago and my bike has been in storage since. I took the battery out and put fuel stabilizer. my first question is, how long can a bike sit like that? no one has been turning it on or anything. It´s been sitting in the US all this time in a garage.
the reason why is bc I am having such a hard time letting go of the bike. I bought it in May of 02 and just fell in love with it. when I moved I was still crazy about the bike but unsure if my stay in europe would be permanent, so I decided to leave in in the US while I thought things thru. Now I am getting nervous that the bike is just sitting there and I plan on settling in Spain for at least a while. Question is, do any of you know about moving a bike accross the atlantic? any companies you could recommend to get a quote? I don´t know if I will bring it to Spain bc they steal so many bikes here that no insurance company will insure it against theft here and I met someone here who´s had two CBRs stolen from him so far.
The best choice seems to sell it even though I hate the idea. do you guys now much about selling a bike on concession vs selling it with an add on the newspaper or the web or ebay for that matter? what´s the best way? I am flying to the US in a few days and spending a couple of weeks there. what are my chances of selling it by then? how are people interested suppose to test drive it in the snow? also, I took it off the road and thus it´s not insured or registered. Ok, I am rambling on too much. Any suggestions would be great. I´d really appreciate any help and advice any of you might have.
Thanks
sam
