BWAHAHAHA!!! I love it for its shock value though. Make you a deal; if the Harley goes, so does the hippo.

Your hippo is 152 pixels high and sloganizer (at the moment) is 35. You're in the gray area at 187 pixels.

I suspect some don't know how to determine the height of an image. On a Windows machine, right-click and 'properties'. As for the text, you can take a screenshot and open it in an image editor or just guess.

How about approximately 1.5 times the height of an avatar?

RowdyRed Yours isn't very tall, but it sure is long ( that didn't sound right did it) I have to click on the bar at the bottom, and move it back and forth, just to see what you have to say. What's up with that? Please don't tell me I need a new computer, I spent all my money on motorcycle stuff.

Rickster, you must be running a really small monitor at low res. As I've already said, I sized it so someone running 1024x768 can see it without horizontal scrolling. The image is only 700 pixels, and the total width of the entire forum template is about 925. You need to upgrade that 13" monitor, man! The image is barely half as wide as my 17".

I bet if I took a poll (which I considered doing), less than 5% of us are using monitors that old and small. Sorry, bud, but that's that.

I know next to nothing about computers, I just figured out today how to put an avatar up. My monitor is 15'' disgonal. Any idea what a newer, better, bigger one would cost me.

Ok, you guys talked me into it. I'll shrink it down. It'll look darn right tiny to me, though. Those with 19" monitors'll have to use a magnifying glass.

Here's something I don't get, though. If I shrink my window to a certain point, the two images that compose my sig wrap to two lines, effectively halving it's width. Aren't they doing that for you guys?

Rickster, you can get into a really nice 17" for about $200 if you shop carefully. I'm using a high-end Dell (fast response time for gaming, pivot for "portrait" viewing) that I paid just over $200 for with Dell coupons and a shipping deal.

N_W, you're right at 150 pixels. Thanks.

And if you are using a 21", you'll have to use the microscope to use it. Damn, I hate having those problems.

So why did you say it was causing horizontal scrolling in a previous post? I'm confused.

I think that putter should be congratulated for so an eloquent and to-the-point first (any only) post.
