Default saddle bags

I am a new owner of an Intruder 800. While putting on the supplied saddle bags one side didn't fit. Any one else have this problem and is there an easy fix?

I am not sure what size bags you are putting on, but mine are installed under seat, under side rails and helmet lock, over bag braces I installed. If your bags are 12 inches or less in leangth and don't touch the muffler then you should not have problems. I used slanted bags, as I wanted the rear shocks exposed. I may need more information on what you are installing and the size, to be of any further help.

Thanks for the info. I took the bike with the saddle bag partially attached to the dealer and they got it on. I think they re-drilled the hole but I'm not taking it off to verify that. The saddle bags are the ones that came with the "touring package". Nothing special but free so I'll take it.
