| Has anyone used one of these hitch type motorcycle tow set ups?. Looks like it should work. I figured it might be a good way to tow a bike from California to Florida. It would be good to also not have to deal with a trailer or try to get the motorcycle up into the back of my truck which sits real high. From Ad: Moto Carrier can handle any bikes, 400 to 1000 lbs. fits ALL cruisers and sportbikes with front tires up to 140/80 or 140/90. That is what I was beginning to think. Don't have a clue on the dimensions. Been looking online at hitch parts and it looks like some angle iron and a Pintle Hook Adapter with 3 1/2" drop. | |

| Yes you would have to remove the chain on a long drive: Uses ratchet type straps (available option) to lock in wheel and secure handlebars, to car/truck bumper. Harleys and Beemers can tow cross-country with belt, chain or driveshaft connected. Most Japanese bikes should have drive chain or driveshaft removed for long haul towing. I was figuring that I would have to be able to weld to make it myself. I don't know how to but I would be willing to learn. I found some more pics that show the item better. |
