If you stare at the pic long enough you may see a bike!

I get a lot of stares and waves by kids as well as grown-ups when they see that I'm a girl on a muscle cruiser... When I'm on my Kat, I get a ton of stares from men who more interested in the "Kat" between my legs (that one too)... But for the most part, I wave to everybody, kids and grown-ups... A while ago a little girl at a traffic light gave me a piece of gum when she saw I am a girl... It was TOO cute... Her Mom just waved and smiled... I dig the attention that I get as a female rider...

I have noticed kids in town smiling & waving as I go by, too, and had not thought about it until reading this thread! Yeah, I smile & wave back.

this is just another example of the fact that life is a big cycle..no pun intended. As little kids we are enthralled by bikes and love them and respect them. We want soo badly to have one. Thats when they wave and stare. the really cute stage...then they get older and you get the stupid ones that wave their arms up and down wanting wheelies all the time for no reason...or flipping us off cuz they want what we have...especially when there is a hott little chica on back. then later on we go back to our childhood ways and wave at bikes again and drool..

Yea I have gotten little kids waving at me and ill wave right back and give her a good rev...I have also had some older guys come talk to me and say theu really like my bike and seeing it, they think about their youth. I had one guy tell me about how he was in WWII and the first thing he got when he got back was a bike and he rode arounf the country and all this, it was soo awesome to see that look in his eye...the motorcycling spark if you will...

not just kids. i was going in front of our local wal-mart one night and heard this REALLY LOUD "hey, man". scared me, and i slammed on the brake and the guy just wanted to tell me "nice bike". don't think they realize how distracting it is when they do something like that. later, bud

At street vibrations a couple weeks ago a big guy on a harley passes with his girl on the back, as they get out in front of us we see that she is wearing, a thong, and very very lowcut pants of some time, cause all you could see was thong and butt cheeks, lol- and he thought folks were looking at his bike?? lol

I was riding a back road today behind a school bus. The first stop it made, a little boy got out (probably 6 or so), and when he saw me he stopped in his tracks like a deer in a headlight. Then a couple friends of his got off and he just started waving at them and pointing at me. So I give them a wave and they start smiling and laughing and jumping up and down while waving. lol, that made my day. Little kids like that are cool.

I would do that, but the inside of my helmet doesn't taste particularly good...

My girl was riding around the neighbourhood a few weeks ago and a bunch of kids were mucking around on the street.

When she passed one little boy, trying to be cool in front of all his friends, yelled out "Are you a man or a lady?!"

My girl yelled back "I'm a girl learning to ride so watch out!"

If "yell and wave" can include "point and laugh" then, yeah...
