| i've used polishing compound on my truck's headlamps, but they were just barely getting yellowed. If the yellowing is too far along I'm not sure what would work. I've seen ads for products that claim to completely clean the lens and make it like new...not sure how well (or if) they work though.

| Thanks Quack, i was reading off a site that Wetsanding and Waxing/Polishing would do the trick, and i called the local Autozone to see if they had any of that stuff you are talking about, and the guy just told me to Sand and wax, i tought it was BS but then i read the same thing off that site, i guess i should try that???

| might want to try brasso. know that may sound crazy, but if you read closely on the can, it says for polishing watch faces. friend of mine who collects watches told me this and sure enough, it does say that. when i was in the army, know we used it for all our brass. later, bud

| Check out this product called Lens Renew. It's a kit with different compounds and sanding elements. I've used it on my Sebring. The headlights were so yellow that you could bearely see the bulb. Spent 30 minutes on each and they were as clear as new. It's the same process used on the windshields of planes. www.lensrenew.com |
