|  So Many Mods - So Little Cash
I just spent 6K on my new bike and am realizing that I could easily spend another 6K on a ton of cool add-ons. Since I'm not made of money I'm thinking safety first and lights come to mind. I'm wondering what lighting would be the best investment to start with. I've read a lot about the oscillating headlights and tail lights as well as HID lights. I don't think I want to mess with the electrical system right off the bat so I'm putting the HID thing on the back burner. My question is are the oscillating lights worth it? Particularly the brake lights I've read about one that starts out flashing and then turns solid as you apply the break. I do notice that if I tap the breaks before I actually slow down the drivers behind me seem to give me more room.... Thoughts, suggestions, opinions and any other lighting mods that you think might be as or more appropriate would be appreciated. |
