|  Problems with Heel/toe shifter
Hi all, My hubby just added MC Enterprises freeway bars to his 06 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. He then found that only the MC enterprises floorboards with the Heel/toe shifter is the only ones that will work with the bars. The problem: He can't get the %^*% shifter to consistently work where it will shift up above 2nd gear. The instructions were very poor on how to install, so we are not sure if they are installed correctly. Anyone out there have a VT1100 with these boards/shifters installed who would mind taking a picture to show a from the floor angle to show the linkages? Any other advice for the proper installation of this accessory? He really likes the floorboards, but can't shift without the heel/toe shifter due to where the end of the board is and where the shifter is. _________________ 'til later, LadyC |
