|  A very bad day Well today was not a good day. This afternoon I was informed that an associate and friend from work had lost his battle with cancer. Last year he was diagnosed with throat cancer then it moved into the lymph nodes. He was the VP of a multi million dollar company. Bart Schillaci died today he was only 49. Tonight a close friend lost his dad to cancer as well. He was just diagnosed two weeks ago. He went quickly. Both are now resting in peace. Draw Near When tragedy comes, in this life we hold dear The reason for this, will not always be clear And when things come about, we cannot explain And those that we love suffer in pain Put your faith in Lord Jesus, and be set free For the lame will walk, and the blind shall see So lift them up to Jesus, rely on His name For He is our Hope, and He overcame The scripture says, to all who believe A heavenly crown, one day we'll receive While on this earth, is trouble and Pain Life in Christ Jesus, His Glory we gain So when tragedy comes, in this life, do not fear It's a Blessing from God, if to Him we draw near Don Gibson |
