|  Tank Car! Dun dun DUN!
Well. To make a long story short, my window got shattered out (by me) and also broke some mounting rails on my 95 neon coupe. Even longer story short, i found a pretty cheap door, around 80 bucks, where a new one would be ballpark 600 bucks. Problem is, its red. And my car is green. As much as i love christmas, i dont think i'll like this color change. Ergo, im going to repaint my car. Considering i'm in the sticks of colorado, and im cheap, and my cars going to get dirty anyway, i figure im going to paint it "Sand Camo" you know, like the desert storm tanks. I think it'll go good with my hood vents and the such. Anywho, i have looked *EVERYWHERE* for flat tan paint, everyone keeps trying to sell me 160 dollar magic paint and stuff. All i want is flat tannish color paint, nothing more, not even gloss coat or nothing. Is there somewhere i can *find* this paint? Is there a way to use other kinds of paint (house paint?  ) or something?This problem's been driving me crazy, and ive got bikes to focus on anyhow! |
