|  A Knight and His Sidekick
Just finished watching one of those medival knights-in-shining-armor movie re-runs on TV. For some strange reason, it made me thinking about a ride I took with my buddy a few weeks ago. Picture this: My buddy riding his blindingly bright yellow Ducati Supersport 800, and me riding my dark blue GZ250 (heck, he could go faster in his second gear going up a hill than my flat-out down-hill run), just trying to catch up. Suddenly, I had the image of a knight riding his big, powerful, and handsome Yorkshire horse, with the horse taking long and graceful strides. Right next to it, the knight's sidekick busily and hurriedly kicking his donkey, just trying to not fall too far behind. Damn, I miss my a$$. The dealer said it should be ready next Tuesday, as they had to order more than 40 parts to build me a new engine. |
