So you really think "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was a code for LSD?

OK, it wasn't a reference to LSD and the Paul is dead deal wasn't real either.

Contrary to what SNOPES reports, I just can't shirk off the notion that they named it that way on purpose. I mean, c'mon . . . read the lyrics, look at the times.

Lennon thought he was going to get in trouble with the Baptists again ("we're more popular than Jesus" ) and did some serious backpedalling.

Of course it's about drugs.

Lennon admitted that the lyrics were influenced by his many acid trips, but I believe that it was just a coincidence. He stuck to the story from 1967 until his death in 1980, and McCartney still claims this to this day...that's an awfully long time to keep up a lie.

To go back a few topics, if it weren't for Ravi, those guys would have never written that song about Mia Farrow's sister. She would probably have never married Woody, and then he couldn't be an incestuoius pedaphile.

See so it all worked out for the best in the end.

Talkin' 'bout "Dear Prudence"?

Inspiron: I firmly believe that Paul McCartney and John Lennon are full of ****, and always have been. It doesn't surprise me in the least, that they would perpetuate a lie in order to keep 1) the money flowing; and 2) the memories un-tainted.

Can you tell that I'm a George fan?

Which Paul McCartney are you talking about, the dead one or his stand in? And here's another clue for you all, the walrus was Paul.

For my money though, Blackbird is one of their best songs. It doesn't have a sitar but it is a nice acoustic guitar piece.

The stand-in's name was Billy Shears. He can be distinguished from teh 'real' Paul by the presence of a small scar on his face, an artifact of the 60's-era plastic surgery.

Favorite Beatles song? Easy: Rain.

So in the lyrics of Across the Universe, they sing "jai guru de va om", which loosely translated means they pay honor to Guru De Va.

Man Landry, I just knew you'd get that one.

What are you guys talking about?!?! Golden Slumbers was by far their best effort, and that one is under a minute-fourtyfive.

I look at you all the love there that's sleeping
while my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps.

I don't know why nobody told you
how to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you.

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
while my guitar gently weeps
with every mistake we must surely be learning
still my guitar gently weeps.

I don't know how you were diverted
you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
no one alerted you.

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
while my guitar gently weeps
look at you all...
still my guitar gently weeps.
