Default cycle shop trip

i'm determined to go to the cycle shop saturday to pick up a windshield for the savage.

question is, do i ride the bike? i mean, i need to make sure the shield is the correct size don't i?
or do i have to drive the stang...

the nearest bus stop is over 30 miles away. in the other direction.

that might cause a problem.

Ride and take your kit. You can install the windscreen in their parking lot then get to try it out all the way home. Hope you've found a decent shop. rotzaruck.

maybe it's all the hard work and jb weld i used on it to keep it working last summer.

update.
couldn't ride the bike as it had a loose ground wire connection after i put it together.
and they didn't have what i needed in stock.
but i'll ride next weekend to pick up the windshield!
