Hope this summer isn't going to be a HIGH GAS PRICE summer!
At Shell here in Birmingham:

$2.02 - 87
$2.05 - 89
$2.11 - 93

Other stations are similar, give or take a few pennies.

Gixxer-Mike, I saw a Shell station near The Homewood Ballet just yesterday that was still at $2.01 for 87. 'Course, it coulda easily jumped a penny overnight.

Yeah! Even the so-called off brand gas stations have high prices .

I've never truly understood the "core" reason of why gas prices escalate & decline. I read quite a bit so I guess it boils down to supply & demand, or maybe negotiation rules...heck I dunno.

Hey this brings me to an interesting topic. Think I'll start one about how many miles to the gallon is a bike compared to your auto. Are we truly saving by riding 2 wheels instead of 4 ? Lemme go start it!

As I just posted in another thread ... my GSX 1400 and my Golf 1.9 TDI get about the same mileage. After 300km (around 185 miles), both have burned between 18 and 20 litres (around 5 gallons). The only difference is that diesel is about 30 cents per gallon more expensive here, so the bike is a bit cheaper.

(Of course, when calculating full cost with maintenance and insurance, I'm sure that my 5 year old Golf is much cheaper in the long run).

Unleaded $9.00/Gal.
Diesel $ 9.88/Gal.

Today and it's still going up, with the amount of tax we pay on it the cretins in guvt. are sitting wondering how to mis-spend this 'windfall'!

At those prices it would cost me almost 500.00 to fill my truck up.
Geez...and I remember %%%%%ing when it went to 40 cents. Oh, and the "even" and "odd" days of gasoline.

We should be honored guests any place in Dubi since we are paying for the Arabs playground over there.
Just think how they sit in these places and laugh at us for paying for this..
Its nice knowing we are basically a slave to them and their crude..

Here on the Maryland Eastern Shore, it's selling for $3.09 per gallon for regular....which works out to $550.00 per month for my household.

I'm selling one car, we don't need 4 cars and a motorcycle for a 3 driver family.

$3.09 for regular around here.

I supplement my natural gas heat with a kerosene heater on the colder evenings (20's and lower). I went to refill my jugs last week and noticed it was now $3.99 per gallon. I asked the clerk what happened, and she said it jumped a full $1.00 per gallon overnight about 3 weeks ago.

Imagine the outcry if gas jumped $1.00 per gallon overnight.
