Talking Achieving inner-peace

I am passing this on to you because it has definitely worked for me. By following the simple advice I read in an article, I have finally found inner peace --

The article reads:
Quote:
"The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."
So I looked around the house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished -- and before coming to work this morning, I finished off a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine, one of Bailey's Kahlua, one Tia Maria, my Prozac, 1/2 bottle of Vodka, some valium, a 1/4 of hash, and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how f**king good I feel ...

I'm gonna go talk to the owner of a huge black dog that turns over trash cans in the neighborhood . Been goin' on for the past month or so & yesterday was the last straw. I came in from out-of-town to find my yard trashed ...let alone the fact that the wind was high.

I can easily drive a stake in the ground & chain the trash can to it but why should I have to? The dog even turns over other neighbors trash & it just blows into my yard anyway. Will talk rationally w/the owner later today. Will post outcome tomorrow!

Default Update!

Knocked on the door & asked the kid if his parents were home. He said his Mom was home & she came to the door. I thouroughly explained the situation in an extremely calm manner. She replied by saying that her dog doesn't run free through the neighborhood at any time.

Well, before she could finish the sentence, the big black beast had come up the steps & was breathing on the back of my legs. With an amazing look on her face she said, "Now how did he get out?"

Everyone in the neighborhood has been complaining about this dog but no one has mentioned it to the Owner's. So...I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt & allow them 7 days to correct this problem. If he turns my trash over one more time I'm gonna turn the other cheek & let it slide. But if it happens once more after that I'm gonna let the Owner's know that if he comes again & is caught..."ROCK-A-BYE, BABY! "

I'd say you've done well, but the one more time before the one more time is unnecessary. She's on the last straw.

If you're going to give one more chance, then next time send
it home with a 3"x5" card on it's collar, stating it's, name if known,
aprox. year of birth, and it's aprox. date of death. This tends to
be a real attention getter to the owner, just don't sign it, hehehe.

Me likes that!

I don't have an evil bone in my body but some people tend to push things a little "too far." You allow them an inch & then they take a foot. Afterwards, you know better but you begin to believe that they think you are a push over.

Don't hurt the dog! It's not his fault. Gather up the trash and deposit on her front step.

if I have to finish all things that are started..... that would mean I have to go into the cold garage and actually put my bike back together. I think I'll get it done before the snow goes away, but not much sooner.
