Question Which video camera?

We had some good suggestions on digicams, so I thought I'd ask for help on which video camera is best.

I'm wanting something under $500. I'd like to be able to take digi pix on it too.

Suggestions?

I know nothing when it comes to new digital gear, but here is what I was considering.

I'd also like some input on this.

TIA

Just out of curiosity, I did a little Googling and came across an interesting website on digital camcorder reviews:

http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/camcorder/

What also is interesting is they show pricing and availability for reviewed model along with store ratings. Abe's of Maine received a high rating, but another one (you'll see when you browse) received a marginal rating. (I thought it rather cute they used 4 faces to indicate level of customer satisfaction. All smiles meant highly rated, more frowning than smiles meant low rating.)

Camcorders can be browsed by cost bands or brand.

Ebay has a lot but I'm too wary of them, I like to see high dollar electronics before I buy.

I have a JVC GR-D93 that I got a smokin deal on at Sears....has more than enough for me.

The Samsung Digimax 530. 5.0 megapixels is great with voice rocording, video and of course digital pictures. Don't expect to pay much more than $250 for one. A great camera I got for Xmas. I think Best Buy or Sears had em for cheap this season.
