| I wish I was that smart. I have, though, thought about putting my plate on a hinge, such that I could pull a string when I went by one of those things and flip the plate into an unreadable position.

| In NZ, we have L plates for beginner riders. They are yellow with a large black 'L' on them (the plates, not the riders). A learner can only ride a 250cc or less until they get their 'full' license. I reckon this was a local.

| Ditch Magnet ![]() | take the power antenna off a car and install it under the seat. put the plate on a hinge and connect the antenna to the bottom of the plate. wire it into a switch and you are ready to go..
