Here's mine: 1) Start lifting weights again Wrist problems . . . finally narrowed it down to bad bench pressing technique. I've dropped the weights WAAAYY back and started re-learning to bench with my wrists straight, not lagging downward. Someone taught me to put my thumbs on the same side of the bar that my fingers are on and it just snowballed from there. I'm just hoping that any damamge already done is not permanent. 2) Drop some of this tummy fat I could stand to lose about 10-15 pounds of excess fat I've packed on this year. 3) Get my Professional Engineer's Certification It's like a lawyer passing the BAR exam. It's a helluva test, but after you pass it, people in this field think you pooh golden eggs filled with accurate numbers. I just want it so that I can throw a little more salt into the wound I plan on causing with Resolution #4. 4) Find a new job Since I got railroaded by HR for putting a dent in a car that put one in my truck, I'm going to find a new job. I always knew gov't workers would irritate me to the barest threads. 5) Make it through the year without having any wrecks A no-brainer for most people, but I live in Memphis. Anyone else? |
