First off I am very computer literate (heck I physically build my computer). OK now my question. I have Windows XP Professional installed with Service Pak 2 (which I hate). I have about a dozen games that are about 2 years old. Since I got my new computer I cannot BEGIN to install the games because they require DOS. Is there something I need to install to be able to play despite the absence if DOS? These games include Half-Life original, Soldier of Fortune, Mafia, Starcraft and Sim City 3000 to name a few. I just cannot figure Microsoft would blindly make all of these games that are not very old at all incompatable with Windows XP. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? |
