His Mom took him to the recruiter on Tuesday afternoon to be shipped out to Fort Jackson. He called Tuesday night from the Motel room and said "All I've done today is hurry up and wait".......Welcome to the U.S. Army. He called Wednesday and said they didn't ship out because the computers were down, and he would have to stay one more night in the Motel. Last night I received a text that said he was at Hartsfield Int. Airport waiting on a bus to take them to S.C..............The last word I got from him was last night about 8:00 and he was East bound on a charter bus. |
