|  Things that make you....
Situations that make you just pucker while riding. Whats your tales? Situation this morning. 38 degrees and clear. Rounding a few slow cars that were below the speed limit (4 lane road); I stepped out front where it was nice and clear. No cars in front and only two coming in my direction. So low beams and running 50 mph. 55 is the speed limit. I like to pay attention to the oncoming cars to make sure they stay on their side of the road. Head on collisions on this road are the past time. I want a chance to survive and to slide, go over the side or cross lanes IF I am able. So I am watching the centerline with the oncoming headlights in their lane and all of a sudden I see the headlights go out. Matter fact the silhouette of the car blanked out. This all happend about 60 yards ahead of me. 8 weeks ago a horse was hit early in the morning on this very road. It really F'ed up a honda civic.....I am thinking HOLY #$$%^ that is a big animal. Or animals! It seems the wind sucked up a big black bag off the side of the road and moved it across the cars front end. Thanks to the speed of the wind the bag kept going.  |
