|  My day in Court
Well yesterday I finally got my day in court, I had gotten a parking ticket in a Wall-Mart parking lot for parking on the yellow stripes at the end of a row of car parking spaces. Parking on those lines is a common practice for motorcycles as it is a safety thing, cars pulling into a spot sometimes do not see a motorcycle because they are not looking for a motorcycle. You probably think that you can't get a parking ticket on a private parking lot, not so in Conway Arkansas. The officer was less than truithful when he said I was parked near a Handicap parking space, I was not. The Judge dropped the ticket but said that anyone could be ticketed for not parking a motorcycle in a spot just like an automobile, next time I would have to pay the fine ($155.00). I have seen the legal system up close and am not impressed. Old Codger |
