Three words . . .

Boiled

Squirrel

Brains

(Cajun relatives . . . my p-paw (pronounced puh-paw') smacks the head with a spoon, splits it down the middle, extracts the brain, and there you are).

Tasted sort of 'fish-like' with the mechanical consistency of . . . say . . . mashed potatoes, maybe a little stiffer . . . like mashed potatoes that have yet to be mashed.

Nah...it was an ROTC camp where they did classes on survival. They showed us how to catch the thing, kill it and make it edible, but they dared me to eat the stuff raw (they were ex-grunts and stuff from the army)...so I decided to show them I wasnt scared.....-pretty nasty stuff.

Goes down easy if you're really drunk and have a half-naked LBFM feeding it to you.

Calimari (is that how it's spelled?) It's like chewing on rubber and has no taste.

We went to a tempura restaurant. They brought out a live eel that proceeded to escape, vigorously, about 8 times.

They finally beheaded it, split it open and removed the spinal cord, which was then deep fried in batter. It was actually good.

I've had some crab brain sushi - not bad.

I actually tried duck sushi - really good. Yes, you read that correctly - duck [quack quack].

Actually, some of our Quebecois friends may comment - but something I cannot stomach is sugar pie - it's basically diabetes in a plate...
