I'm picturing a corner of the hereafter where the rat pack is still playing and Michael gets to the door and the door man says....

"Sorry sir, the rat pack has standards, go to all the rest of hereafter."

I just heard Michael Married Elvis and they moved to a island in the Bahamas. I think Jim Neighbors and Johnny Mathis live nearby.

somebody who really wears his opinion on his sleeve.

Uncle Walter is gone - and no, this like Ed McMahon is not the start of another "gaggle" of celebrities.

they were 80 something, and in Walter's case, 90 something.

now something more spooky, the passing of the hager brothers (twins, country music).

one last year, the other this January.

It seems like everybody is some sort of celebrity now. In the future some so called star will pass away every day.

yes, the bar keeps getting lowered.

part of the "info goes around the world in 3 seconds" concept.

My favorite are the "celebrity bloggers." WTF!! Any idiot can start a blog and all of a sudden they can be a celebrity. And how does being a "blogger" make any one an expert on anything or make their opinion more valid than yours or mine? Anyone with some extra time on their hands can create a blog.

my newest favorite is "twitter."

there are guys doing the morning show on the local radio (milwaukee, wi - am 620) and they pretty much do news and they have twitter.

for reasons that pretty much remain unclear and ridiculous as close as I can tell.

Aw come on! You mustn't have grown up in the 80's. They don't make teen movies like that anymore.
